When you come to visit Hoffman Center, it doesn’t matter whether your interests are in our diverse plant life, the many types of butterflies, the frogs, toads or snakes. Maybe it’s just for the birds. Maybe it’s just to get away, to get some fresh air, or some much needed exercise. Whatever your reason we have what you need.

We offer twice monthly nature walks free of charge. Join our naturalist and learn some of the history of the property. The hour-long walk will take you down various trails where you will experience the sights, sounds and smells of the world of nature around you.

Lastly, if your interests remain indoors, we offer our “Naturally Speaking” lecture series in conjunction with the New York State Planting Fields Arboretum. A wide range of topics are covered and refreshments served.
